Accessibility

Valleybrink Road is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including those browsing with screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or other assistive technology.

Where we are

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We are not there yet. The site is currently under review and is being rebuilt with accessibility addressed as part of that work.

We would rather say that plainly than claim a standard we have not met.

What we are working on

• Reviewing the site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA
• Adding descriptive alternative text to all content images
• Rebuilding the page structure so navigation, main content and footer are properly marked up for assistive technology
• Adding a skip-to-content link and clear keyboard focus
• Checking color contrast and form labeling throughout
