Description

If you feel like you might be getting sick or if you already are, this is the recipe for you. This broth made with tons of garlic, ginger, and a hint of jalapeno will help combat any cold and give you a powerful immunity boost. Feel free to simply sip it by the cup or use it as a base for any soup. Enjoy!

Peel all the garlic cloves from 1 head of garlic.

Place the peeled cloves in a medium saucepan. Add 2 tbsps of olive oil, turn the heat to medium, and cook until garlic is fragrant and golden in color.

Cut the other head of garlic in half. Add it to the saucepan with the ginger, jalapeno, cilantro and 2 quarts of water. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Strain. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
