On Day 23 of our month long cleanse, and craving something sweet. These GF Peanut Butter Energy Balls really hit the spot. Simple to make and packed with wholesome ingredients like GF rolled oats, flax seed, and peanut butter.

Place all the ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.

Stir to combine. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to harden.

To make into 1 inch balls, you kind of have to squeeze the mixture together rather than roll it. It tends to crumble if you try to roll it in your hands. Recipe makes 12-14 balls. Store in the fridge for up to a week.

  • 1/2 cup ground flax seed
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 cup cacao baking chips (or semi-sweet chocolate chips if that is the only thing you can find. I was able to find a 100% Cacao Unsweetened Baking Chips by a brand called Pascha)
