The days are heating up and there is nothing more refreshing than an ice cold glass of fresh mint tea. So simple to make, you can prepare a big batch and enjoy it throughout the week!

Remove the mint leaves from the stems.

Wash, rinse, and dry the leaves, removing any dirt particles.

Heat 5 cups of filtered water. Place the mint leaves in a strainer over a medium to large bowl, and pour the hot water over the leaves. Make sure the leaves remain submerged in the hot water. Cover with foil and let steep for 5-10 minutes.

Once the tea is finished steeping, remove the strainer and discard the leaves.

If adding honey, stir a little in now while the tea is hot.

Pour the tea into a pitcher, let it cool. Then, place it in the fridge to get cold. Serve over ice with a little sprig of mint.
